What is QmixElements?
The QmixElements software is a plugin-based, modular software solution for the control of various devices in the field of laboratory automation. The software consists of a core that provides the basic features and services, such as the application window, the event log or the tool bar.
This basic or core Qmix system is then expanded through device-specific or application-specific software modules - the Qmix plugins. Depending on the device configuration a specific, customised software solution with a unified graphical interface can be configured easily. If your Qmix system grows later, the software can easily be extended with new plugins.
Powerful scripting system
The QmixElements software comes with a powerful scripting system to automate processes and analysis. No programming skills are required for the programming of these scripts - all functions are simply dragged with the mouse from the script pool into the script editor where they can be configured graphically. Programming Qmix scripts is easy, intuitive and fun.

neMESYS Plugin
Precise dosage of volumes, nanoliter precise generation of fluid streams, convenient and easy configuration of syringe parameters, valve switching - these are just some of the many features of this plugin for the integration of the neMESYS syringe pumps into the QmixElements software.

Qmix Valve Plugin
The Qmix valve modules with its multiport-valves can be easily integrated into the QmixElements software and its powerful scripting system with this Qmix valve plugin.

Qmix Controller Plugin
The Qmix controller plugin extends the QmixElements software by PID control loops for precise control and regulation of Qmix Q+ and Qmix Q- heating and cooling modules.

Qmix I/O Plugin
No matter whether analog, digital, input or output - with the Qmix I/O plugin you have full control of all I/O channels of the Qmix I/O module an the Qmix P pressure measuring module.

rotAXYS Plugin
With the rotAXYS plugin you conveniently control all functions of the rotAXYS compact positioning system. With the rotAXYS script functions you can easily build up automated positioning sequences.

Tubing Pump Plugin
With the Tubing Pump plugin you can easily control up to 6 peristaltic pumps at the same time. Through the clear and easy to use interface, you always have an eye on all important pump parameters. A highlight is the dosing plan editor for creation of simple or complex time controlled dosing sequences.

Qmix Camera Plugin
The Qmix camera plugin enables the integration of various digital cameras into the QmixElements software. The plugin supports e.g. Firewire 1394 cameras (DCAM standard), various USB cameras and all standard Windows DirectShow cameras.
Among the many features of this plugin is the easy adjustment of all camera parameters and the recording and storage of the current camera image.

Image Analysis Plugin
This plugin is the perfect complement to the camera plugin. Captured images can be viewed and analyzed with this plugin easily and comfortable. Here are some highlights:
- loading and saving of different image formats (PNG, JPG, TIFF ...)
- stepless zoom in and out with mouse wheel
- easy navigation within the zoomed image
- simple measurement of image object sizes (units: um, mm, cm, px ...)
- extreme magnification without pixelation (interpolation)

Video Builder Plugin
With this Video Builder Plugin you can quickly and easily create videos from pictures taken by the camera plugin or microscope plugin. This allows for example the creation of time-lapse movies of very slow microfluidic processes.
One of the highlights is the integrated optional camera deshaking algorithm that reliably removes camera shakes from the provided image material.
